Somatic Psychotherapy & Life Coaching

I provide licensed somatic psychotherapy online for adults throughout Colorado and embodied life coaching in person in West Los Angeles and online for clients anywhere.

While these are distinct services, they share a common foundation of curiosity, collaboration, and body awareness. Whether we're working in therapy or coaching, my goal is to help you better understand yourself, strengthen your relationship with yourself, and develop greater flexibility in how you respond to life's challenges.

Somatic Therapy

Somatic psychotherapy integrates traditional talk therapy with awareness of your body's experience. Through conversation, mindfulness, and present-moment awareness, we'll explore the patterns shaping your thoughts, emotions, relationships, and responses to stress. I work with adults navigating anxiety, trauma, depression, chronic stress, life transitions, relationship challenges, burnout, boundaries, and personal growth, helping them develop greater awareness, flexibility, and choice.

Life Coaching

Embodied life coaching is designed for individuals seeking greater clarity, direction, or support in creating meaningful change. Whether you're navigating a life transition, working toward personal or professional goals, strengthening relationships, or looking to live more intentionally, coaching offers a collaborative space to move forward. Drawing from mindfulness and body awareness, we'll identify what's getting in the way, build on your strengths, and create practical, sustainable steps toward the life you want to live.

What It's Like to Work Together

Every client is unique, and the way we work will be tailored to your needs. Some clients benefit from more structure, while others need more space. My role is to meet you where you are and adapt our work to what feels most supportive in the moment.

Sessions often begin with conversation. As we explore what's happening in your life, there may be times when I invite us to slow down. We might take a breath, notice what's happening in your body, or simply become curious about what's here.

You may hear me ask questions like, "What do you notice?" or "Can we stay with that for a moment?" Sometimes we'll explore your breathing, posture, body sensations, emotions, or an impulse that wants your attention. Other times, we'll stay with your story, giving it space to unfold. We might experiment with a grounding exercise, a small movement, or simply pause long enough to notice what emerges. Every invitation is just an invitation. We'll move at a pace that feels right for you.

Many clients tell me they leave sessions with greater clarity, not because I gave them the answers, but because they had the opportunity to hear themselves in a different way. During the course of our work, people often become more comfortable with who they are and what they need. They develop greater confidence in asking for support, setting boundaries, and caring for themselves. They also find they navigate life's inevitable challenges with more equanimity and less fear of getting stuck in old patterns.

Coaching Disclaimer

While embodied life coaching draws from many of the same principles as my psychotherapy practice, including mindfulness, body awareness, and collaborative exploration, it is not psychotherapy or mental health treatment. Coaching is intended to support personal growth, life transitions, relationships, career development, and intentional living.
